• Operating System:  Depending on your coursework requirements, you may need to choose between Windows, macOS, or Linux. Many programming tasks can be done on any of these operating systems, so it often comes down to personal preference.
• Build Quality:  Look for a laptop with a durable build, as it will likely see a fair amount of use during your academic years.
